Media Mentions: Lollipop, Ruffled Blog, and Polka Dot Bride
Last week the “Love Notes” photo shoot by the super fabulous Lollipop Ladies was featured on Ruffled Blog here & here. We were thrilled to send out the Mirabelle gown for this marvelous shoot in honor of Valentines Day. I’m simply in awe of the entire shoot. The setting, the theme, the models, the photography…not to mention the dreamy Kypton Locke. Kudos to all the contributors for assembling such a fantastic homage to love!!

The Beatles said it best with “All you need is love, love, love is all you need.” Whether you are dating, engaged, or getting married, it is all about sending the right message with good old-fashioned love notes. Hit even higher notes by playing on love notes by infusing musical lyrics into your sweet Valentine’s weekend. We created a play on Love ‘notes’ by handwriting actual song lyrics throughout the day.
The Setting: For this Valentines Day Soiree we created a romantically wild seaside garden with overgrown roots, driftwood and birch wood in a forest of twisted trees overlooking the pacific blue. This was truly a sweetheart table for two. The white washed wood and birch leg table was covered in anemones, spray roses and dusty miller leaves. Simple candles, sticks, shells and skeleton keys were placed in the center for a dreamy, romantic effect.

We also had a wonderful mention from down under. Polka Dot Bride did the beautiful feature below introducing the Alisa Benay line to Australian brides. It was wonderful karma, as my business partner is Australian and we just so happen to be having our first meeting of the year the same day as the Polka Dot feature. Here in the studio, we have a secret crush on Australia & would love to be in stores there!
