I have always been fascinated with vintage clothing. Whether it was dressing up in my great grandmother’s costume jewelry as a child or the hands on experience of working with centuries old courtisan costumes at the fashion museum of my college, clothing of times gone by has always captured my attention.
After graduating from Kent State University with a degree in Fashion Design, I worked as a custom bridal gown designer. Working one on one with brides over the past 15 years taught me much about what brides really want in their gowns. I have combined my vintage gown obsession with my knowledge of bride’s needs and have launched my new line of vintage inspired couture gowns for the modern bride. I comb the marketplace to bring my brides the most unique and romantic gown possible with custom made European trims and laces, silhouettes not found any where else in the bridal industry, and matching heirloom veils and jewelry to complete the vintage inspired romantic look.
It’s so amazing to get to work in an industry of bright new beginnings. I am in awe of the wonderful people I get to meet and work with everyday, from brides, to boutique owners, to bridal media, you are all such beautiful people. I hope you enjoy this line of gowns as much as I do!Alisa
